AU PAIR, KANSAS was just announced as winner of the Emerging Artist Award for Best Men’s Feature at the North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival! It screens this Friday and Saturday in Durham, NC. Woohoo. So keyed that someone outside of big cities likes this subtle, heartfelt film set in small town American (take that NYC and LA!)

This is an awesome movie where the characters are real, you can feel the anger roll through the family due to a father’s death, and you can sense the healing that is about to take place. The humor is perfectly placed. No melodrama, this is a great movie worthy of being in theaters across tje country. Find a showing near you. It’s worth the trip.
