And the best part is that apparently they have a 24 hour/day magarita machine for the filmmakers. They haven’t announced time of showing, but will post when it’s announced.

AU PAIR, KANSAS selected for Waterfront Film Festival in MI!

Published May 23, 2011 Uncategorized 4 CommentsAfter a lovely screening of the movie at the Palais K screening room a the Cannes marche du film last week, very happy to learn that AU PAIR, KANSAS wins another award! It’s now won numerous awards (2) at festivals around the world (Kansas City and Cannes.)
Leaving tomorrow for Cannes, France, where AU PAIR, KANSAS plays as part of the Cannes Independent Film Festival (The “Slamdance” of Cannes.) The screening is on Wednesday, May 18, 2 pm, Room Palais K, at the Palais des Festivals. Co-producer Hans-Martin Liebing and filmmaker friend Sean McConville will also be there.
At 5 pm on Sunday, June 5, at the St. Anthony Main Theater in Minneapolis, MN, JT O’Neal will give his SCREENWRITING NOW! presentation, followed at 7:30 pm by a screening of AU PAIR, KANSAS. The closing night party for OTCFF will follow the screening. Be there or be square!
AU PAIR, KANSAS had a nice screening in Muskogee, OK at Bare Bones Film Festival. Festival founders ShIronbuttery and Oscar Ray were great hosts. The SCREENWRITING NOW! seminar went over great, too. Thanks to Bare Bones FF for a lovely time (now then, if you can just make it so they sell cold beer in liquor stores, and don’t smoke in the bars!)
